Kinetic asked the WhatIf Group to assist in developing their formative ideas for the creation of a vibrant quarter around Middlesbrough rail station. They already owned some heritage properties that had been successfully renovated as serviced offices.
After creating a wider vision for the area, we have subsequently worked with the Kinetic team on further acquisitions of historic property and also developing business models for the development of a strategic intervention that will uplift the whole of the area.
We have brought together clients on this project and Kinetic and Danieli are working collaboratively to bring active leisure uses onto the ground floor of buildings.
Additionally, we have helped develop a strategic business plan and delivery model, for which we are seeking to work collaboratively with Public Sector partners in a Public Private Partnership.
